Overall, Zed sees a very large drop in his KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Vex. His KDA decreased from NaN to NaN. This drop shows that Vex helps Zed perform not as well in competitive LoL games. Yet, the small difference proves that this performance change is only marginal.
When Zed plays on the same team as Vex, he gets a moderate decrease in his total damage dealt. There is no universally accepted best champion pairing for Zed that will 100% of the time be his top synergy. However, overall, Vex is a very typical ally for Zed. By being on the same team as Zed, they decreases their win rate by -0.6% to 47.8%. This proves that there is only a small strategic relationship between Zed and Vex that allows them to perform worse together than without each other.
Vex has a much lower diffuclty than Zed. That means you don't need to be careful when arranging Vex comrades to go into battle on the same side as, as they will require a much lower level of skill to cooperate well with you.
