Similarly, when Sion is played together with Fizz on the same side, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees compared to when he plays on his own. This is contrasting evidence that he is worse when playing synergisticly with Fizz.
Additionally, when Sion plays with Fizz on the same team, he typically receives a little less damage than when he fights alone. Receiving not as much damage could mean that Fizz does a decent job of protecting Sion in team fights.
There is no universally accepted best ally for Sion that will 100% of the time be his best ally. However, overall, Fizz is a good companion for Sion. By being on the same side as Sion, he raises their win rate by 2.7% to 52.9%. This proves that there is a potentially meaningful bond between Sion and Fizz that results in them performing stronger together than without each other.
Fizz has a greater difficulty than Sion. That means you must be careful when arranging Fizz allies to fight alongside, as they will require a greater level of skill to fight well with you.
Playing on the same side, Sion players will likely observe an overall large increase in your team’s capability to tank a lot of damage. Combined, these champions might be able to provide enough cover for their team's carries.
In contrast, by bringing Sion and Fizz together, you may not be granting your other allies a great deal of support. Plan to pick other champions on your team that nullifies this relative hole in their kit.
