The Shen Yone synergy stats shown here demonstrate the areas of his gameplay that do better (or worse) when paired with Yone, compared to his overall stats. Significant differences are areas of focus that highlight how his gameplay changes when paired with this other champion.
Overall, Shen sees a large worsening in his KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Yone. His KDA fell from NaN to NaN. This negative change shows that Yone helps Shen perform not as well in ranked LoL games. Yet, the small difference demonstrates that this performance change is not very impactful.
When Shen plays on the same team as Yone, he observes a little decrease in his full damage output. This difference could signal that Yone does not support by providing cover for him to dish out more damage or that his presence also helps extend the round's duration. Similarly, when Shen is played alongside Yone on the same team, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees compared to when he plays alone. This is contrasting evidence that he is worse when playing synergisticly with Yone.
Additionally, when Shen plays with Yone on the same side, he usually receives a little less damage than when he fights alone. Taking not as much damage could mean that Yone does a decent job of covering Shen in team fights.
There is no one best ally for Shen that will always be his top teammate. Yet, Yone is a very typical ally for Shen. By playing on the same side as Shen, he has no effect on their win rate by 0.0% to 49.7%. This demonstrates that there is not really a strong strategic relationship between Shen and Yone that results in them performing at the same level together than without each other.
Yone has a much greater difficulty compared to Shen. That means Shen players should be very careful when finding Yone comrades to play with, as they will need a much higher level of skill to be able to cooperate well with you.
Fighting cooperatively, you should expect to observe an overall large increase in your team’s capacity to to cover for your other teammates. Together, these two will be a great protective duo.
Conversely, by bringing Shen and Yone together, you will not be giving your other allies a great deal of AP. Make sure to bring other champs on your team that nullifies this gap in their kit.
Regardless of your Yone ally's skill level, you need to focus on increasing your gold income, outlasting your enemies, and clearing objectives. If you heed this simple advice, you will do well anyway.
