Paying attention to last hitting with Siphoning Strike will have a large impact at the end of a game.
If you're solo, Spirit Fire is a great way to farm a lane. It can be bad if you're in a lane with 2 and you push too far. Find the right balance between Siphoning Strike last hits and AoE farming.
If you have low defenses, people will focus you down even during your ultimate. Try buying some survivability items even in your DPS builds.

Overall, Nasus sees a very large drop in his KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Jhin. His KDA went down from NaN to NaN. This fall shows that Jhin helps Nasus perform not as well in ranked League rounds. Yet, the small difference demonstrates that this performance change is only marginal.
When Nasus plays on the same team as Jhin, he sees a small increase in his complete damage output. This may demonstrate that Jhin helps provide protection for him to deal more damage or that his participation also helps extend the round's duration. Similarly, when Nasus is played with Jhin on the same side, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees than when he plays alone. This is contrasting evidence that he is worse when playing alongside Jhin.
Additionally, when Nasus plays with Jhin on the same side, he often takes a little more damage than when he fights alone. Taking more damage could mean that Jhin does a poor job of covering Nasus during teamfights.
There is no perfect companion for Nasus that will always be his ideal ally. However, Jhin is a good teammate for Nasus. By playing on the same side as Nasus, he increases their win rate by 1.3% to 51.6%. This clearly indicates that there is pretty good bond between Nasus and Jhin that results in them performing stronger together than without each other.
Jhin has a lower difficulty than Nasus. That means you don't need to be very careful when lining up Jhin allies to play with, as they will require a lower level of skill to work well with you.
Playing on the same side, you should expect to witness an overall large increase in your team’s capacity to destroy wih physical damage. Combined, these two should be able to take down targets with auto-attacks and other AD damage abilities.
Conversely, by aligning Nasus and Jhin together, you may not be providing your team enough utility. Plan to bring other champions on your team that neutralizes this relative hole in their potential.
Regardless of your Jhin ally's ability, you need to focus on increasing your gold income, staying alive by avoiding foolish fights, and taking down objectives. If you heed this simple advice, you should do well anyway.
