This is contrasting evidence that he is worse when playing synergisticly with Gnar.

There is no perfect champion pairing for Nasus that will always be his #1 ally. Yet, overall, Gnar is a very bad ally for Nasus. By being on the same side as Nasus, he drops their win rate by -5.4% to 44.9%. This proves that there is a terrible strategic relationship between Nasus and Gnar that allows them to perform worse together than alone.
Gnar has a greater difficulty than Nasus. That means you should be careful when lining up Gnar allies to go into battle on the same side as, as they will have to have a greater level of skill to play well with you.
Fighting alongside, you should observe an overall large increase in your team’s capacity to deal physical damage. When paired, these two should be able to take down targets with auto-attacks and other AD damage abilities.
In contrast, by bringing Nasus and Gnar together, you may not be providing your other allies very much utility. We recommend you bring other champs on your team that fills this relative hole in their abilities.
