Despite his abilities scaling on Armor, some games require Malphite to get Magic Resist. When those games occur, try getting Aegis of the Legion, Mercury's Treads, and Guardian Angel.

Overall, Malphite sees a large worsening in his KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Yasuo. His KDA went down from NaN to NaN. This negative change shows that Yasuo helps Malphite perform not as well in ranked League matches. Yet, the small difference indicates that this performance change is only marginal.
When Malphite is an ally to Yasuo, he gets a little drop in his full damage dealt. This difference may indicate that Yasuo does not help protection for him to dish out more damage or that his allyship also helps extend the round's duration. Similarly, when Malphite is played together with Yasuo on the same side, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees compared to when he plays on his own. This is contrasting evidence that he is worse when playing with Yasuo.
Additionally, when Malphite plays with Yasuo on the same team, he usually receives a little less damage than when he fights alone. Taking not as much damage could indicate that Yasuo does a decent job of covering Malphite in team fights.
There is no top ally for Malphite that will always be his best ally. Yet, overall, Yasuo is a pretty good companion for Malphite. By being on the same side as Malphite, he raises their win rate by 1.5% to 51.6%. This proves that there is a potentially meaningful bond between Malphite and Yasuo that results in them performing stronger together than without each other.
Yasuo has a much greater difficulty compared to Malphite. That means you need to be careful when enlisting Yasuo allies to go into battle on the same side as, as they will have to have a much greater level of skill to be able to cooperate well with you.
Playing on the same side, Malphite players should observe an overall large increase in your team’s capability to destroy wih physical damage. Combined, these champions can provide a great amount of sustained physical damage.
In contrast, by aligning Malphite and Yasuo together, you may not be granting your side enough magical damage output. Make sure to include other champions on your team that neutralizes this relative disparity in this pairing's abilities.
Regardless of your Yasuo ally's ability, you need to focus on increasing your income, warding to avoid ambushes, and taking down objectives. If you do this, you should do well, regardless.

To have the greatest chance of beating your oponents, Malphite players should use the Arcane Comet, Manaflow Band, Transcendence, Scorch, Sudden Impact, and Ultimate Hunter runes from the Sorcery and Domination rune sets.
