In the lane, try to position your soldiers between the enemy's minions and the enemy champion. This way you can use them both to last hit and to project threat onto your lane opponent.
Be careful about putting down both of the soldiers stored by Arise! Unless you're going all-in, always have a soldier in your back pocket if you need to escape over a wall or if you misposition your other soldier and need damage now.

The Lux Azir synergy stats shown here demonstrate the areas of her gameplay that do better (or worse) when paired with Azir, compared to her overall stats. Significant differences are areas of focus that highlight how her gameplay changes when paired with this other champion.
Overall, Lux sees a very large drop in her KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Azir. His KDA worsened from NaN to NaN. When Lux is paired with Azir, she observes a moderate decrease in her complete damage output. This change may signal that Azir doesn't help protection for her to dish out more damage or that his allyship also helps increase the round's duration. Similarly, when Lux is played with Azir on the same side, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees than when she plays without Azir. This is contrasting evidence that she is worse when playing with Azir.
Additionally, when Lux plays with Azir on the same team, she often takes a little less damage than when she plays alone. Receiving not as much damage may indicate that Azir does a decent job of protecting Lux during team fights.

By locking into the same team as Lux, he decreases their win rate by -1.5% to 48.3%.
