Kassadin's ultimate has many uses and is on a shorter cooldown than most, use it often.
Kassadin has multiple item paths; he can go caster via Mana and Ability Power or anti-caster with Cooldown Reduction and Magic Resist.
Try to get the Ancient Golem buff to counteract Riftwalk's increasing Mana cost.
Paying attention to last hitting with Siphoning Strike will have a large impact at the end of a game.
If you're solo, Spirit Fire is a great way to farm a lane. It can be bad if you're in a lane with 2 and you push too far. Find the right balance between Siphoning Strike last hits and AoE farming.
If you have low defenses, people will focus you down even during your ultimate. Try buying some survivability items even in your DPS builds.
The Kassadin Nasus synergy stats shown here demonstrate the areas of his gameplay that do better (or worse) when paired with Nasus, compared to his overall stats. Significant differences are areas of focus that highlight how his gameplay changes when paired with this other champion.
Overall, Kassadin sees a large worsening in his KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Nasus. His KDA fell from NaN to NaN. This decrease shows that Nasus helps Kassadin perform not as well in ranked LoL rounds. Yet, the small difference indicates that this performance change is not very impactful.
When Kassadin is paired with Nasus, he gets a little drop in his full damage dealt. This could indicate that Nasus does not support by providing protection for him to dish out more damage or that his participation also helps extend the round's duration. Similarly, when Kassadin is played alongside Nasus on the same side, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees than when he plays on his own. This is contrasting evidence that he is worse when playing synergisticly with Nasus.
Additionally, when Kassadin plays with Nasus on the same team, he on average takes a little more damage than when he plays alone. Taking more damage could mean that Nasus does a poor job of covering Kassadin in teamfights.
There is no one best ally for Kassadin that will no matter what be his top teammate. However, Nasus is a relatively poor teammate for Kassadin. By being on the same team as Kassadin, he lowers their win rate by -2.7% to 47.3%. This signals that there is a harmful bond between Kassadin and Nasus that allows them to perform not as well together than without each other.
Nasus has a lower difficulty than Kassadin. That means you don't need to be cautious when finding Nasus allies to go into battle on the same side as, as they will have to have a relatively low level of skill to be able to play well with you.
When playing together, you should see an overall large increase in your team’s capacity to deal magical damage. Together, these champs can deal quite a lot of AP type damage.
Conversely, by pairing Kassadin and Nasus together, you will not be providing your team enough utility. We recommend you have other champs on your team that fills this relative gap in their abilities.
Regardless of the skill of your Nasus teammate, you should focus on increasing your gold income, outlasting your enemies, and taking down objectives. If you heed this simple advice, you should do well anyway.
