Rockets aren't always the best choice! Jinx's minigun is incredibly powerful when fully ramped up. Switch to it whenever an enemy champion gets too close.
Jinx's rockets deal full damage to all enemies in the explosion. Use them on minions in lane to hit nearby enemy champions without drawing minion aggro.
When a fight starts try to stay on the edge of fray by poking with rockets and Zap!. Do not run in and unload with the minigun until you feel it is safe.
While laning, try to use Death's Hand's piercing damage to damage opponents from a safe distance.
Vision of Empire is quite difficult to land on its own, look for skirmishes around the map where enemies may be distracted or crowd controlled so you can land it more easily.
If you're having trouble rooting an enemy with Nevermove, try throwing it at opponents when they are near their minions so the explosion surprises them.
Demonic Ascension may make Swain very hard to kill but he's pretty easy to get away from. Try building items that can slow opponents to keep them in range if their mobility is overwhelming.
The Jinx Swain synergy stats shown here demonstrate the areas of her gameplay that do better (or worse) when paired with Swain, compared to her overall stats. Significant differences are areas of focus that highlight how her gameplay changes when paired with this other champion.
Overall, Jinx sees a very large drop in her KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Swain. His KDA fell from NaN to NaN. This fall shows that Swain helps Jinx perform not as well in competitive LoL games. Yet, the small difference proves that this performance change is not very impactful.
When Jinx tries to synergize with Swain, she gets a barely noticable drop in her complete damage dealt. This difference could demonstrate that Swain does not provide cover for her to deal more damage or that his allyship also helps extend the game's duration. Similarly, when Jinx is played with Swain on the same team, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees than when she plays without Swain. This is contrasting evidence that she is worse when playing alongside Swain.
Additionally, when Jinx plays with Swain on the same side, she on average takes a little more damage than when she fights alone. Receiving more damage may mean that Swain does a poor job of covering Jinx in teamfights.
There is no one best champion pairing for Jinx that will 100% of the time be her #1 teammate. However, overall, Swain is a very typical companion for Jinx. By playing on the same side as Jinx, he increases their win rate by 0.1% to 49.9%. This clearly indicates that there is not really a strong bond between Jinx and Swain that results in them performing better together than alone.
Swain has a greater difficulty than Jinx. That means Jinx players need to be cautious when enlisting Swain allies to fight alongside, as they will require a greater level of skill to fight well with you.
Fighting cooperatively, Jinx players should expect to observe an overall large increase in your team’s capacity to deal magic damage. When paired, these two are able to dish out a surprising amount of magic type damage.
Although, by pairing Jinx and Swain together, you probably will not be giving your other teammates much support. Plan to pick other champions on your team that helps cover this relative gap in their capabilities.
Regardless of your Swain ally's ability, you should focus on increasing your income, warding to avoid ambushes, and taking down objectives. If you do this, you should do well, regardless.

Out of all the rune builds players used for this team composition, this order of runes yielded the best win rate. Moreover, these runes gave a 49.9% win rate overall.
