There is no one best synergy for Graves that will 100% of the time be his ideal teammate. However, overall, Zeri is a terrible ally for Graves. Zeri has a greater difficulty than Graves. That means you need to be cautious when lining up Zeri comrades to go into battle on the same side as, as they will have to have a greater level of skill to be able to work well with you.
Working on the same side, you should expect to see an overall large increase in your team’s capacity to destroy wih physical damage. Together, these champions can tear through the other team with a lot of physcial damage.
In contrast, by bringing Graves and Zeri together, you may not be giving your team a lot of magical damage output. Plan to pick other champs on your team that nullifies this relative hole in their capabilities.
Regardless of the ability of your Zeri teammate, you should focus on increasing your gold income, staying alive by avoiding foolish fights, and clearing objectives. If you heed this simple advice, you should do well, regardless.
