Overall, Diana sees a large worsening in her KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Gnar. His KDA decreased from NaN to NaN. This fall shows that Gnar helps Diana perform not as well in ranked League of Legends rounds. Yet, the small difference proves that this performance change is only marginal.
When Diana is an ally to Gnar, she gets a little increase in her complete damage output. This change could demonstrate that Gnar helps provide protection for her to dish out more damage or that his allyship also helps increase the match's duration. Similarly, when Diana is played alongside Gnar on the same side, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees compared to when she plays alone. This is contrasting evidence that she is worse when playing synergisticly with Gnar.
Moreover, when Diana plays with Gnar on the same side, she on average receives a little more damage than when she plays alone. Taking more damage could indicate that Gnar does a poor job of covering Diana during team fights.
There is no perfect synergy for Diana that will 100% of the time be her ideal teammate. Yet, overall, Gnar is a relatively poor companion for Diana. By playing on the same team as Diana, he decreases their win rate by -1.9% to 48.1%. This signals that there is a negative bond between Diana and Gnar that results in them performing not as well together than without each other.
Gnar has a much greater difficulty compared to Diana. That means Diana players must be very careful when finding Gnar allies to fight alongside, as they will require a much greater level of skill to be able to cooperate well with you.
Fighting on the same side, Diana players should expect to see an overall large increase in your team’s capacity to deal physical damage. Combined, these champions can provide a great amount of sustained physical damage.
