In the lane, try to position your soldiers between the enemy's minions and the enemy champion. This way you can use them both to last hit and to project threat onto your lane opponent.
Be careful about putting down both of the soldiers stored by Arise! Unless you're going all-in, always have a soldier in your back pocket if you need to escape over a wall or if you misposition your other soldier and need damage now.
Think of Emperor's Divide as a defensive ability first and foremost. Use it when the enemy engages on you or your allies. Remember that your team can walk through the soldiers summoned by Emperor's Divide and use this to your advantage when enemy melee champions engage on you.
Twisted Fate is viable as an Attack Damage or Ability Power character, letting him fit on many different team compositions.
Stealth characters often escape a battle with very low hit points. Take advantage of Destiny's ability to reveal stealthed units to finish them off.
Coordinate with your allies for the best time to use Destiny to ambush enemies.
The Azir Twisted Fate synergy stats shown here demonstrate the areas of his gameplay that do better (or worse) when paired with Twisted Fate, compared to his overall stats. Significant differences are areas of focus that highlight how his gameplay changes when paired with this other champion.
Overall, Azir sees a large worsening in his KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Twisted Fate. His KDA went down from NaN to NaN. This decrease shows that Twisted Fate helps Azir perform poorer in competitive League of Legends games. Yet, the small difference demonstrates that this performance change is only marginal.
When Azir is paired with Twisted Fate, he gets a marginal improvement in his full damage output. This difference may indicate that Twisted Fate helps provide cover for him to deal more damage or that his presence also helps extend the game's duration. Similarly, when Azir is played with Twisted Fate on the same team, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees than when he plays without Twisted Fate. This is contrasting evidence that he is worse when playing with Twisted Fate.
Additionally, when Azir plays with Twisted Fate on the same side, he on average receives a little more damage than when he plays alone. Receiving more damage could indicate that Twisted Fate does a poor job of protecting Azir in team fights.
There is no ideal synergy for Azir that will no matter what be his best ally. However, Twisted Fate is a good teammate for Azir. By playing on the same side as Azir, he improves their win rate by 2.0% to 52.2%. This clearly indicates that there is pretty good synergy between Azir and Twisted Fate that allows them to perform stronger together than alone.
Twisted Fate has a lower difficulty than Azir. That means Azir players don't need to be very careful when lining up Twisted Fate comrades to play with, as they will need a relatively low level of skill to be able to play well with you.
When playing on the same side, you should see an overall large increase in your team’s ability to deal magical damage. Combined, these champs can deal quite a lot of AP type damage.
Conversely, by grouping Azir and Twisted Fate together, you may not be giving your side a lot of tankyness. Make sure to have other champions on your team that helps cover this disparity in this pairing's potential.
Regardless of your Twisted Fate ally's ability, you need to focus on maximizing your gold income, outlasting your enemies, and taking down objectives. If you do this, you should do well anyway.

Of all the rune combinations players used for this team composition, this sequence of runes resulted in the best win rate. Moreover, these runes averaged a 52.2% win rate overall.
