Be a bird!
In the lane, try to position your soldiers between the enemy's minions and the enemy champion. This way you can use them both to last hit and to project threat onto your lane opponent.
Be careful about putting down both of the soldiers stored by Arise! Unless you're going all-in, always have a soldier in your back pocket if you need to escape over a wall or if you misposition your other soldier and need damage now.
Think of Emperor's Divide as a defensive ability first and foremost. Use it when the enemy engages on you or your allies. Remember that your team can walk through the soldiers summoned by Emperor's Divide and use this to your advantage when enemy melee champions engage on you.
Shadow Assault is a powerful escape tool, but can also be offensively used to assault a group.
You can use Assassin's Path to get behind the enemy and set up for Noxian Diplomacy's melee attack.
Remember to pick your target before the fight. Focusing all of Talon's abilities on one target can be very rewarding, but splitting them up between many may leave you helpless.
The Azir Talon synergy stats shown here demonstrate the areas of his gameplay that do better (or worse) when paired with Talon, compared to his overall stats. Significant differences are areas of focus that highlight how his gameplay changes when paired with this other champion.
Overall, Azir sees a very large drop in his KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Talon. His KDA went down from NaN to NaN. This decrease shows that Talon helps Azir perform not as well in competitive League games. Yet, the small difference indicates that this performance change is not very impactful.
When Azir tries to synergize with Talon, he observes a little increase in his total damage output. This change could signal that Talon helps provide protection for him to deal more damage or that his presence also helps extend the match's duration. Similarly, when Azir is played alongside Talon on the same side, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees compared to when he plays without Talon. This is contrasting evidence that he is worse when playing with Talon.
Additionally, when Azir plays with Talon on the same side, he typically receives a little more damage than when he plays alone. Taking more damage could mean that Talon does a poor job of protecting Azir in teamfights.
There is no ideal companion for Azir that will no matter what be his #1 synergy. However, Talon is a very bad companion for Azir. By playing on the same side as Azir, he lowers their win rate by -3.9% to 46.3%. This proves that there is a terrible strategic relationship between Azir and Talon that results in them performing worse together than without each other.
Talon has a lower difficulty than Azir. That means you don't need to be very careful when arranging Talon teammates to play with, as they will have to have a relatively low level of skill to cooperate well with you.
Playing alongside, you should expect to see an overall large increase in your team’s capacity to destroy wih physical damage. Combined, these champs can tear through the other team with a lot of physcial damage.
In contrast, by aligning Azir and Talon together, you will not be giving your other allies very much protection for burst damage. Make sure to include other champs on your team that helps cover this gap in their potential.
Regardless of the skill of your Talon teammate, you should focus on increasing your income, staying alive by avoiding foolish fights, and clearing objectives. If you do this, you should do well, regardless.
