In the lane, try to position your soldiers between the enemy's minions and the enemy champion. This way you can use them both to last hit and to project threat onto your lane opponent.
Be careful about putting down both of the soldiers stored by Arise! Unless you're going all-in, always have a soldier in your back pocket if you need to escape over a wall or if you misposition your other soldier and need damage now.

Overall, Azir sees a very large drop in his KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Shen. His KDA decreased from NaN to NaN. This decrease shows that Shen helps Azir perform worse in competitive League of Legends rounds. Yet, the small difference shows that this performance change is not very impactful.
When Azir is an ally to Shen, he observes a small increase in his full damage dealt. This proves that there is a somewhat important strategic relationship between Azir and Shen that results in them performing stronger together than without each other.
Shen has a much lower diffuclty than Azir. That means you don't need to be cautious when enlisting Shen allies to go into battle on the same side as, as they will need a much lower level of skill to cooperate well with you.
