In the lane, try to position your soldiers between the enemy's minions and the enemy champion. This way you can use them both to last hit and to project threat onto your lane opponent.
Be careful about putting down both of the soldiers stored by Arise! Unless you're going all-in, always have a soldier in your back pocket if you need to escape over a wall or if you misposition your other soldier and need damage now.
Think of Emperor's Divide as a defensive ability first and foremost. Use it when the enemy engages on you or your allies. Remember that your team can walk through the soldiers summoned by Emperor's Divide and use this to your advantage when enemy melee champions engage on you.
Spider Form is most effective at finishing off enemies with low health; Human Form's Neurotoxin does more damage to healthy foes.
Elise's Spider Form and Spider Form abilities do not cost mana and can be prioritized when you are trying to conserve mana.
When in Spider Form, Spiderlings will attack the target that Elise uses Venomous Bite on.
The Azir Elise synergy stats shown here demonstrate the areas of his gameplay that do better (or worse) when paired with Elise, compared to his overall stats. Significant differences are areas of focus that highlight how his gameplay changes when paired with this other champion.
Overall, Azir sees a large worsening in his KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Elise. His KDA worsened from NaN to NaN. This worsening shows that Elise helps Azir perform worse in competitive LoL games. Yet, the small difference demonstrates that this performance change is not very impactful.
When Azir is an ally to Elise, he observes a little drop in his total damage dealt. This change could indicate that Elise does not support by providing protection for him to dish out more damage or that her allyship also helps increase the match's duration. Similarly, when Azir is played together with Elise on the same team, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees compared to when he plays on his own. This is contrasting evidence that he is worse when playing synergisticly with Elise.
Additionally, when Azir plays with Elise on the same team, he often takes a little more damage than when he fights alone. Getting dealt more damage may indicate that Elise does a poor job of covering Azir in teamfights.
There is no universally accepted best companion for Azir that will 100% of the time be his ideal ally. However, overall, Elise is a terrible teammate for Azir. By playing on the same side as Azir, she drops their win rate by -3.4% to 46.8%. This signals that there is an easy to overcome and exploit bond between Azir and Elise that results in them performing worse together than without each other.
Elise has a lower difficulty than Azir. That means Azir players don't need to be very careful when enlisting Elise allies to play with, as they will have to have a relatively low level of skill to be able to cooperate well with you.
When playing alongside, you should expect to observe an overall large increase in your team’s ability to to do a lot of AP damage. Combined, these two are able to dish out a surprising amount of magic type damage.
Although, by pairing Azir and Elise together, you probably will not be giving your side much cover. Make sure to bring other champions on your team that fills this relative gap in this pairing's abilities.
Regardless of the skill of your Elise teammate, you need to focus on maximizing your gold income, outlasting your enemies, and taking down objectives. If you follow these simple suggestions, you should do well anyway.
