Molten Shield is a good spell to cast to work up to Annie's stun, so sometimes it's beneficial to grab at least 1 rank in it early.
Striking killing blows on minions with Disintegrate enables Annie to farm extremely well early in the game.

Paying attention to last hitting with Siphoning Strike will have a large impact at the end of a game.
If you're solo, Spirit Fire is a great way to farm a lane. It can be bad if you're in a lane with 2 and you push too far. Find the right balance between Siphoning Strike last hits and AoE farming.
If you have low defenses, people will focus you down even during your ultimate. Try buying some survivability items even in your DPS builds.

Overall, Annie sees a very large drop in her KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Nasus. His KDA decreased from NaN to NaN. This worsening shows that Nasus helps Annie perform poorer in ranked League rounds. Yet, the small difference proves that this performance change is only marginal.
When Annie plays on the same team as Nasus, she sees a little decrease in her full damage dealt. This difference could signal that Nasus does not support by providing cover for her to dish out more damage or that his presence also helps increase the match's duration. Similarly, when Annie is played together with Nasus on the same side, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees compared to when she plays on his own. This is contrasting evidence that she is worse when playing with Nasus.
Additionally, when Annie plays with Nasus on the same team, she on average receives a little less damage than when she fights alone. Taking not as much damage could mean that Nasus does a decent job of covering Annie in team fights.
There is no perfect ally for Annie that will no matter what be her best teammate. However, Nasus is a pretty good teammate for Annie. By playing on the same team as Annie, he improves their win rate by 2.9% to 52.2%. This demonstrates that there is pretty good bond between Annie and Nasus that allows them to perform at the top of their game together than without each other.
Nasus has a lower difficulty than Annie. That means Annie players don't need to be careful when arranging Nasus teammates to go into battle on the same side as, as they will require a lower level of skill to work well with you.
When playing on the same side, you should witness an overall large increase in your team’s ability to to do a lot of AP damage. Combined, these champions can blast through enemies with magic damage.
In contrast, by grouping Annie and Nasus together, you will not be granting your other teammates very much protection for burst damage. Plan to have other champs on your team that nullifies this gap in this pairing's kit.
