Overall, Anivia sees a large worsening in her KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Nautilus. His KDA worsened from NaN to NaN. This fall shows that Nautilus helps Anivia perform poorer in ranked League rounds. Yet, the small difference proves that this performance change is only marginal.
When Anivia tries to synergize with Nautilus, she sees a little increase in her total damage output. This could signal that Nautilus provides cover for her to dish out more damage or that his participation also helps extend the round's duration. Similarly, when Anivia is played alongside Nautilus on the same side, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees than when she plays without Nautilus. This is contrasting evidence that she is worse when playing with Nautilus.
Moreover, when Anivia plays with Nautilus on the same team, she on average takes a little less damage than when she plays alone. Getting dealt not as much damage could mean that Nautilus does a decent job of covering Anivia during team fights.
There is no top ally for Anivia that will 100% of the time be her top synergy. Yet, Nautilus is a not very good ally for Anivia. By playing on the same side as Anivia, he decreases their win rate by -1.2% to 49.7%. This shows that there is a bad bond between Anivia and Nautilus that allows them to perform not as well together than alone.
Nautilus has a much lower diffuclty than Anivia. That means Anivia players don't need to be very careful when arranging Nautilus allies to fight alongside, as they will require a much lower level of skill to be able to do well with you.
Playing together, you should witness an overall large increase in your team’s capacity to to do a lot of AP damage. When paired, these champions are able to dish out a surprising amount of magic type damage.
In contrast, by bringing Anivia and Nautilus together, you may not be granting your team a great deal of attack damage. Plan to pick other champs on your team that neutralizes this disparity in their potential.
Regardless of your Nautilus ally's skill level, you should focus on increasing your income, outlasting your enemies, and clearing objectives. If you do this, you will do well anyway.

To have the highest probability of coming out on top against your oponents, you should take the Electrocute, Cheap Shot, Eyeball Collection, Relentless Hunter, Presence of Mind, and Coup de Grace runes from the Domination and Precision rune sets. Out of all the rune combinations that we analyzed for Anivia and Nautilus pairings, this mix of runes yielded the greatest win rate. Notably, these runes averaged a 49.7% win rate overall.
