There is no perfect champion pairing for Amumu that will always be his #1 synergy. However, Trundle is a top-tier teammate for Amumu. By being on the same side as Amumu, he increases their win rate by 4.6% to 53.6%. This clearly indicates that there is a very real synergy between Amumu and Trundle that allows them to perform stronger together than alone.
Trundle has a greater difficulty than Amumu. That means you need to be very careful when arranging Trundle allies to play with, as they will have to have a greater level of skill to fight well with you.
