While Zed does have a lower win rate compared to Vex, when on opposite teams, Zed also has a much greater learning curve that makes him a more time consuming champ to pick up and master. You should be careful when picking Zed into Vexas his relative depth means you may not be able to reach his full potential without a lot of practice beforehand.
Furthermore, Zed has only a small amount of CC and other utility, a similar amount to Vex. This makes her just as valuable during team fights, especially when facing champions with a lot of burst damage.

Zed most often accumulates a similar amount of CS compared to Vex. Champions who on average don't get many minion kills often don't require much CS to be effective, such as support champions. The best items to prioritize in your Zed versus Vex build consist of Serylda's Grudge, Hubris, and Voltaic Cyclosword. When Zed bought at least these three items in his build, he performed a lot better against Vex than with many other commonly used item sets. To have the greatest chance of vanquishing Vex as Zed, Zed players should use the Electrocute, Taste of Blood, Eyeball Collection, Ultimate Hunter, Transcendence, and Scorch runes from the Domination and Sorcery rune sets.
