In the lane, try to position your soldiers between the enemy's minions and the enemy champion. This way you can use them both to last hit and to project threat onto your lane opponent.
Be careful about putting down both of the soldiers stored by Arise! Unless you're going all-in, always have a soldier in your back pocket if you need to escape over a wall or if you misposition your other soldier and need damage now.
Think of Emperor's Divide as a defensive ability first and foremost. Use it when the enemy engages on you or your allies. Remember that your team can walk through the soldiers summoned by Emperor's Divide and use this to your advantage when enemy melee champions engage on you.
Jinx's ultimate does less damage the closer you are to her.
Jinx's minigun takes time to ramp up. If you see her poking with rockets try to jump on her and burst her down.
Jinx's snare grenades have a long cooldown and are her primary means of protecting herself. If she misses with them she will have a hard time escaping if engaged upon.

Azir usually has a similar longest killing spree as his opponent does. Commonly, he takes a similar amount of damage to Jinx. This is usually reflective of differing health capacities; however, it can also show that the one champion has less mobility and thus is not able to escape further damage when engaged or poked.
Both LoL champions are great champions. Both champs have their strengths, weaknesses, and counters. In League's current meta, Azir usually fairs equally well when trying to fight Jinx, with a 49.9% win rate. As a result, Azir makes an ok counter for Jinx.
While Azir does have a lower win rate than Jinx, when facing one another, Azir also has a much greater difficulty level that makes him a more difficult character to learn and master. You should be careful when picking Azir into Jinxas his relative depth means you may not be able to reach his full potential without a significant amount of practice beforehand.
Furthermore, Azir also has some amount of utility and CC, a similar amount to Jinx. This often makes her just as valuable during teamfights, especially when facing champions with a ton of burst damage.
While there isn't a single best champion for every situation in League of Legends, in Azir vs Jinx matchups, Jinx is the better champion with a similar win rate, more champion depth, and a similar amount of utility to help out your teammates during team fights.
Azir is a somewhat poor counter to Jinx. Make sure you focus your gameplay on keeping up your CS and clearing objectives. If you are able to do that, you should be able to stand on your own as Azir against Jinx.

Azir usually picks up a similar amount of CS compared to Jinx. Champions who on average don't take much CS often don't have to have much CS to be effective, such as sup champs. They are capable of scaling properly off of their skills, stats, and first items alone. Yet, champs with large amounts of CS, such as hyper-carries, typically need many items to be effective. In either case, try to do better than the numbers shown on this page to do well.
The most crucial items to prioritize in your Azir versus Jinx build include Rabadon's Deathcap, Lich Bane, and Nashor's Tooth. When Azir bought at least these three pieces in his build, he performed significantly better when fighting Jinx than with many other common builds. In fact, Azir had an average win rate of 49.9% when playing against Jinx with this build.
To have the best chance of coming out on top against Jinx as Azir, Azir players should use the Conqueror, Presence of Mind, Legend: Alacrity, Coup de Grace, Manaflow Band, and Scorch runes from the Precision and Sorcery rune sets. Out of all the rune combinations that we analyzed for Azir vs Jinx face-offs, this sequence of runes yielded the highest win rate. Notably, these runes provided a 49.9% win rate overall.
