Zeri Counters

The greatest picks outside of lane to counter Zeri include Nidalee, Elise, and Gragas. These champions are all good at countering Zeri with win rates over 64%. Even if these Zeri counter picks are not picked opposite your position, it's not a good idea to choose them into one of these matchups. They will most often beat Zeri.

Conversely, if the opposing team picks either Rumble or Maokai, Zeri mains should seriously consider taking them, as they easily beats these selections with win rates over 55% against both ofthem.

Zeri is particularly weak when she falls behind. This makes a significant early lead against her crucial. Aim to land charged shots on her as frequently as possible at the start of the game to get ahead.

Be strategic in your use of lane brushes. They are perfect for landing your W on Zeri, enabling your support to make plays which can lead to multiple kills on her.

Zeri�s E is her only movement spell, with a significant cooldown. Capitalize on this by going aggressive when her E is on cooldown, this will limit her ability to escape sticky situations or ganks.

Be cautious of her power spikes. Specifically, Zeri is relatively powerful at level 3 and level 6 when she unlocks her ultimate. At these stages, refrain from going for unfavorable trades to avoid giving her a lead.

Mind Zeri's versatility. She can build either AP or AD based on her team's needs. Be prepared for both scenarios and tailor your build and behavior in fights to counter her specific build.

Pressure Zeri during the mid-game. As Zeri switches lanes during the mid-game, pressure her to use her E unwisely and possibly land in the enemy team's lap.

Ensure good positioning and kiting in late game. Zeri shines in team fights and can deal massive damage given her full build. However, with good positioning and kiting from your side, you can minimize her impact and come out on top.
