Rammus Counters

The greatest picks not in lane to counter Rammus include Xayah, Kai'Sa, and Ezreal. These champs are all great at countering Rammus with win rates over 57%. Even if these Rammus counter picks are not picked in the same position as you, it's not a good idea to choose him into these matchups. They will usually destroy Rammus.

Yet, if the enemy team brings either Wukong or Seraphine, you should strongly consider choosing him, as he easily beats these champions with win rates over 55% against both ofthem.

Keep in mind Rammus' early game is considered weak, struggling with an unhealthy first clear and inability to fight enemy Junglers. Avoid engaging him in a 1v1 conflict in the early stages of the game.

Be aware that Rammus becomes incredibly tanky as the game progresses due to his W ability. He's able to provide a solid frontline for his team, whether he's far ahead or lagging behind.

Remember, Rammus is heavily reliant on his allies to deal the major portion of the damage in fights. This is due to his role as a tank and his lack of damage output. If his allies are behind, the chances of winning fights drop significantly.

Beware of Rammus's frequently available Ultimate R ability. It's often used to make picks which can result in successful ganks, and attempts to take your towers.

In the mid-game, Rammus can be highly tanky, acting as a formidable frontline for his team. He can also get substantial damage boosts, increasing his threat level.

If Rammus starts to get ahead, it's important not to panic. He excels in team fighting, especially in choke point fights. However, he can be counteracted by focusing on your own team's positioning and the careful selection of engagements.

In the late game, Rammus remains an extreme threat due to his tankiness and the strong impact of his maxed-out Ultimate R. Focus on isolating and eliminating Rammus's allies to reduce the effectiveness of their team fights.
