The best picks not in lane to counter Nami include Sivir, Kalista, and Ezreal. These picks are all good at countering Nami with win rates over 56%. Even if these Nami counter picks are not taken in the same position as you, it's not smart to choose her into these matchups. They will most often beat Nami.

Conversely, if the opposing team picks either Tristana or Seraphine, you should seriously think about selecting her, as she easily crushes these selections with win rates over 53% against both ofthem.

Nami shines in the laning phase and mid-game, especially when she has access to her Q and Ultimate R abilities. These abilities give her substantial kill pressure in team fights. To counter this, avoid engaging her directly during these periods of the game and focus on dodging her abilities.

Despite her potential for kill pressure, Nami is a squishy champion with low hit points and an overall lack of mobility. This makes her vulnerable especially to crowd control (CC) attacks.
