Master Yi Counters

The best champions out of lane to counter Master Yi include Zeri, Kai'Sa, and Ezreal. These champions are all good at countering Master Yi with win rates over 55%. Even if these Master Yi counter picks are not chosen in the same position as you, it's not a good idea to take him into any of these matchups. They will most often crush Master Yi.

Yet, if the enemy team brings either Teemo or Nilah, you should strongly think about taking him, as he easily beats these champs with win rates over 54% against each ofthem.

Capitalize on Master Yi's weak early game. He'll be focusing on farming, leaving him with less impact unless you overextend or overstay. Use this to your advantage and apply pressure in the early stages of the game.

Watch out for his Q and W abilities. Master Yi can use them to drop tower aggro and take reduced tower damage, making tower dives risky. Try to interrupt his W ability with hard CC and he could be killed almost instantly.
