Ivern Counters

The best champions globally to counter Ivern include Kai'Sa, Kalista, and Aphelios. These picks are all great at countering Ivern with decent win rates over 56%. Even if these Ivern counter picks are not picked in the same position as you, it's not smart to take him into any of these matchups. They will often win against Ivern.

Yet, if the enemy team picks either Heimerdinger or Pantheon, Ivern mains should strongly consider taking him, as he easily crushes these selections with win rates over 55% against both ofthem.

You do NOT want to get hit by Rootcaller when Ivern and his allies are together because it allows them to dash to you and kill you quickly. It has a narrow cast range and a slow moving animation, DODGE IT!

Ivern's strength lies in his supportive abilities rather than raw damage, so focusing on his allies, particularly the team's hyper carries, can effectively neutralize Ivern's impact in the game. Disrupting his teammates can hamper the effectiveness of his heals and shields.
