Fizz Counters

The greatest picks not in lane to counter Fizz include Zeri, Kalista, and Ezreal. These champions are all good at countering Fizz with decent win rates over 52%. Even if these Fizz counter picks are not picked in your lane, it's not a good idea to take him into one of these matchups. They will likely crush Fizz.

Yet, if the opposite team brings either Teemo or Maokai, Fizz mains should strongly consider selecting him, as he easily dominates these selections with win rates over 55% against each ofthem.

Fizz is incredibly weak up until at least level 3. Exploit his fragility during the early levels but be cautious as he levels up and gains access to all three of his abilities by level 4.

Watch out for Fizz's Ultimate ability at level 6. It has a large radius and deals significant damage, but remember, Fizz is still squishy and vulnerable to crowd control (CC) even when his E is available.

Be mindful of Fizz's power spike at level 6 and again at level 11 when he can intensify the burst damage of his Ultimate R. This is an ideal time to engage with allies and take him down with concentrated damage.

Recognize when Fizz is trying to roam for kills. He may try to wander to the side lanes to get kills if he can't defeat his enemy laner. Make sure to warn your teammates.

Fizz is an opportunist. He thrives on taking out squishy and isolated opponents, particularly with his Ultimate R. Stay vigilant, group up, and ensure he can't pick someone off easily.

Fizz is most threatening if he's ahead early in the game. Suppress his growth by denying gold and kills. This will minimize his threat potential in the mid-game.

In late-game situations, Fizz is looking to gain the upper hand with his Ultimate R. Staying alert, grouping together but remaining elusive can protect you against his unpredictable burst damage.
